Pc Running Slow/problems when typing?
My Pc is running slowly – ie when trying to turn pages or even when I left click the mouse to start typing, there is a delay before it appears. When I type text, its slow to appear etc. Seems to only be when I am on the internet. any ideas how I can fix it? my pc is about 5 years old
This use to happen to me as well, but not only when the internet was on. My problem was that i had too many programs running on startup. To check, follow these steps:
1. Click on Start, then ‘Run’
2. Type ‘msconfig’
3. Click on startup
4. Check how many programs your computer is starting up with, any that you aren’t sure of, just look up on google. If there are unnecessary programs running on startup, simply unclick the boxes of them and press apply. You’ll then need to restart your computer for it to fix it up, which is when you’ll be able to see if that was the problem or not
